Privacy Policy

FlowMatRise is an independent editorial publication covering yoga and Pilates equipment, operated from Asheville, NC 28801, United States. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@flowmatrise.com.

Information you give us. If you subscribe to our monthly letter, we store the email address you submit and the date you submitted it. If you write to us, we hold that correspondence so we can reply and keep track of corrections.

Information collected automatically. Like almost all websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard server log data: IP address, browser user agent, requested page, and timestamp. This is used for security, diagnosing errors, and understanding aggregate traffic patterns. We do not attempt to identify individuals from it.

What we do not collect. We do not ask for names, addresses, dates of birth, payment details, or health information, and we have no user accounts or logins. We do not operate a behavioural advertising network on this site.

This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of its own. Any cookies present are strictly functional — for example, preferences held by your browser or your device.

Third parties whose links you click, including retailers reached through affiliate links, set their own cookies under their own policies once you arrive on their site. We have no control over those cookies and no access to what they record.

Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links. When you follow one, the retailer may set a cookie identifying that the visit originated here, so that a qualifying purchase can be attributed. We receive aggregate commission reporting; we do not receive your name, your address, your payment details, or a list of what you bought.

Product images are served from the retailer's image hosts, and editorial photography is served from image providers. Loading those images means your browser makes a request to those hosts, which receives your IP address as a normal consequence of any web request. Subscription is opt-in. We use the address you give us solely to send the monthly letter, and every message includes a one-click unsubscribe. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share subscriber addresses with anyone, and we do not use them to build advertising audiences.

If you unsubscribe, your address is removed from the sending list. Write to info@flowmatrise.com if you would like it deleted from our records entirely.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing or request portability. Because we hold very little — in most cases nothing more than an email address — these requests are usually straightforward to fulfil.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@flowmatrise.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Newsletter addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Correspondence is retained while it remains relevant to an ongoing correction or enquiry. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes and then discarded.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data we hold. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot warrant absolute security.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and describe the change in the monthly letter. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
